HOURS OF OPERATION
1500 OCEAN is open Tuesday through Saturday, 5:30pm to 10pm. The outdoor Sunset Bar is open 5pm to 11pm.
PRIVATE EVENTS
1500 OCEAN offers two private dining rooms. The Wine Room is an intimate group setting with retractable "cabana" flaps for additional privacy. It connects to the restaurant's beautiful wine vault (which can be used as a unique location for hors d'eouvres, tastings, etc.). The Wine Room can accommodate up to 10 people. The Oceanview Room features French doors that open onto an expansive outdoor terrace. The Oceanview Room can be used in combination with the terrace, which provides a spectacular location for a cocktail reception, for an additional cost. It can accommodate up to 28 people. Carrying on the legacy started when the restaurant opened in 2006 is a new Chef de Cuisine Aaron Martinez. Focusing on fresh local fare, Chef Martinez continues to works with local farmers and producers in creating the restaurant's signature Southland coastal cuisine. He uses the Hotel del Coronado's onsite herb garden to hand-pick the freshest ingredients for his seasonal menus with selections from Santa Ynez to Cabo San Lucas. A vast wine library also highlights local vintners.
