Kids and teens rule at the Hotel del Coronado. With activity centers and tons of fun things specially for children and teens, your family will create memories that will last a lifetime.

Kidtopia Camp & Crafts The Del’s facility for children ages 4-12, Kidtopia features bright and fun colors, underwater murals and separate beach-themed rooms for crafts, stage performances and playtime. There's also a fun climbing unit, a crazy funhouse mirror and high-tech entertainment stations with computers, movie-time media and a Dance Dance Revolution game. Kidtopia offers 3-hour camps and 1-hour programs with ocean-themed crafts and activities. Vibz Teen Lounge The Del offers a year-round hangout dedicated to teens ages 13 to 17. Vibz, a contemporary lounge, is the perfect escape for those looking for a break from the family. This exciting hotspot offers billiards, foosball, darts, karaoke, computers, movie-time media, Dance Dance Revolution and, most importantly, the opportunity for teens to meet other people their own age. Vibz is available at no cost. Overnight guests only.

Teen Spa & Salon

Most of the treatments offered at the Spa and Salon at The Del are available for teens ages 13 and up. Some of our most popular teen offerings include: Clarifying Facial and Teen Treats (choose any two 25-minute services: Swedish Massage, Express Facial, Back Facial, Salt Scrub). The Teen Spa Sundae makes life is so sweet with an Ice Cream Float bath (in a hydro-capsule), 25-minute Spreckels Sugar Scrub and 25-minute Frosting Massage.

Female teens will receive service from female massage therapists and male teens will receive service from male massage therapists. Teens must wear a swimsuit during spa services. A parent must be on premise and sign a waiver for anyone age 17 or younger. Advance reservations recommended for all treatments. Call 619-522-8100 for reservations.

Summertime Fun

FAMILY S'MORES NIGHT: Enjoy s’mores by a beach bonfire, complimentary to overnight guests on Thursday and Sunday nights from 8pm to 9pm. Or, get cozy with your family and experience this campfire classic any night with a private fire pit. Chairs and all equipment provided. Please call 619-522-8815. Overnight guests only.

DIVE-IN MOVIE NIGHTS: Enjoy a movie from an inner tube! Dive-in movies for the whole family show every Tuesday night at sunset. Overnight guests only.

DECK REC: Stop by the Main Pool for Bingo, necklace-making, henna tattoos, shuffleboard tournaments and more. Overnight guests only.

SURF CAMP: Surf Camp is available for hotel guests ages 9-16, Monday - Friday from 9am to 1pm. Camp includes lunch and a surf shirt. Register in advance at 619-522-8815. Overnight guests only.

TEEN ACCESS PASS (T.A.P): This credit card-sized pass is given out at check-in and entitles teens ages 13-17 to great offers in their favorite hangouts. Fits easily in a wallet or pocket. Available during the summer, holiday season and Spring Break. Overnight guests only.

V.I.K. (VERY IMPORTANT KID): Kids ages 4 to 12 will feel extra special at check-in when they receive their V.I.K. lanyard pass. Worn around the neck, this pass entitles kids to special offers at their favorite spots, including MooTime, Spreckels Sweets & Treats and Kidtopia. Available during the summer, holiday season and Spring Break. Overnight guests only.
